Working at Allied Telesis

Our premises were custom-built for our company in 2000. We have two multi-level buildings which are connected at both lower and upper levels by a glass link-span. On one side of our buildings, we look out to the beautiful Port Hills, and on the other we have our own private gardens and courtyard.

The Allied Telesis buildings also house a large, staff-only pool and gym complex, featuring a 22 metre swimming pool, luxurious sauna, fully-equipped gym and weights room, and spacious showers and changing facilities. Our certified Gym Instructor visits for one on one consultations.Our staff use these facilities to balance their working lives, and to relax and revitalise in both body and mind.

Our complex also has a large lunchroom and recreational area, which includes an outdoor courtyard and gardens featuring a giant chess set and petanque court. Here, staff can meet for a coffee, a game, or just to get a bit of fresh air.

We also have an active Social Club - if you are new to Christchurch this is a great way of getting out, seeing the sights, and making friends.

We employ people from a range of education backgrounds, including Science, Commerce, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, and Information Systems. We offer support, training, career advancement, and the opportunity to work in one of our international offices - recent Allied Telesis NZ employees have moved to the USA, Italy, Sweden, Japan and Germany.
