Allied Telesis is a world-wide company, and is one of the world's leading producers of computer networking equipment - employing more than 2,200 people all around the world.

Allied Telesis was founded in 1987 by Takayoshi Oshima, whose objective was to design and manufacture networking products that were efficient, very reliable, based on industry standards, yet remained flexible and affordable. The continued focus on these principles has seen the company grow both in size and reputation, and Allied Telesis has offices all over the world, including the USA, the UK, Netherlands, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, China, Singapore, India, the Philippines, and Australia.

In New Zealand, we develop some of the company's most advanced products for international markets. These include:

• Advanced Layer 3+ switches, including Gigabit and 10Gigabit Ethernet solutions
• Advanced software to run our switching devices
