AlliedWare Plus™ is the new generation of software that is developed at Allied Telesis. As the AlliedWare Plus™ Test and Release Manager, John is responsible for the testing of all software features in isolation and then in a combined final release package, to ensure that it is of suitable quality to be released to our customers.

John says...

"Before coming to Allied Telesis Labs five years ago, I was living in Melbourne very close to the centre of the city and found it was too hectic. Christchurch is a smaller city providing a much more relaxed life style. It is much easier to travel anywhere, yet is big enough to have everything that I want. It also is a thriving centre for IT development, and has beautiful scenery.

"Choosing to live on the inside rim of a volcano, with a view overlooking the sea that is just out of this world, is something that I never dreamed I would ever be able to do.

"I like working for a medium-sized IT company in a semi-rural environment. We develop leading edge products and software for the world market. I can see the output of my work and am proud of what we produce. The work is fun and interesting, I learn something new every day, and work with a great bunch of people."
